Drs. Greg Goodman, Sonia Heeter, and Patricia Kolencik, all professors of education at Clarion University, presented a roundtable session at the 38th annual Teacher Education Assembly on Oct. 28 in Grantville.
In keeping with the conference theme, "New Chapters in Teacher Education: Changes and Challenges," Goodman, Heeter, and Kolencik presented a session entitled, "Distance Learning: Current Pedagogical Characteristics." They discussed the findings of their action research study that sought to delineate current pedagogical characteristics of distance learning by describing practices utilized by Clarion University faculty.
The Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Teacher Educators (PAC-TE) and the Pennsylvania Educational Research Association cosponsors the assembly.
