CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 11-2
The Clarion University Office of Finance and Administration has provided an update on the major construction projects underway at Clarion University.
Construction continues around the new Science Technology Building, and the south entrance remains closed to pedestrian traffic. Minor repairs are being made on Eagle Commons and additional lighting is being installed between Eagle Commons and Carrier. Please use extra caution, slow your vehicle and watch for pedestrians while in these areas or when construction vehicles are in transit.
CLARION CAMPUS - SCIENCE TECHNOLGY CONSTRUCTION
The south walkway on the Greenville side of the Science & Technology Center was installed last week. Separately the topsoil is being spread on both the Greenville and Harvey sides of the new building. Outside construction activities are expected to continue between the inclement weather spurts.
CLARION CAMPUS - PEIRCE DEMOLITION
Topsoil and sub grade material is being moved from the Greenville side to the Harvey side of the Science & Technology Building. Grading and earth moving activities are expected to continue depending on the weather.
CLARION CAMPUS - CHANDLER DEMOLITION
Fine grading, seeding, and mulching was quickly finished this week to beat possible inclement weather. Asphalt patching remains with area roads blocked to traffic until patching is complete.
