Market shows strong demand for PR professionals
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, public relations is a multibillion-dollar business practiced by more than 158,000 professionals in the United States alone.
The bureau predicts that "employment of public relations specialists is expected to increase faster than the average for all occupations through 2012. The need for good public relations in an increasingly competitive business environment should spur demand for public relations specialists in organizations of all types and sizes."
The Online Graduate Certificate in Public Relations program is taught and managed by graduate faculty in the Department of Communication. Program graduates can apply all 15 certificate credits toward the M.S. degree in Mass Media Arts and Journalism at Clarion University.
