Clarion University's annual Reading for the Cure, breast cancer awareness, program is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, 6-9:30 p.m. in Moore Hall across from Carlson Library.
The evening will include poetry and prose readings and a chance to win door prizes. A handmade quilt will be raffled off a handmade. T-shirts will be sold to raise donations for breast cancer awareness and education.
All proceeds benefit the Komen Pittsburgh Race for the Cure/Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
