Clarion University's Career Services Center will host a Fall Career Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Gemmell Student Complex Multi-Purpose Room. Representatives from business, industry, government, military and non-profit organizations, healthcare providers, and graduate/professional schools are currently registered for the event.
The Career Fair provides participating organizations with an opportunity to: promote their organization to all college students (freshmen to seniors) and alumni seeking full-time jobs or internships; speak informally with pre-selected candidates; and screen additional walk-in candidates for the optional individual interviews session on Oct. 15.
Registered for the Career Fair are AFLAC, Blue Sky Therapy, Case Western Reserve University - School of Medicine Graduate Education, Chatham University Graduate School, Clarion Area Chamber of Business & Industry, Colonial Radio Network, Commonwealth of PA-State Civil Service Commission, Counseling and Development Graduate Program, Slippery Rock University, Enterprise Rent A Car, Gannon University, Hamot Medical Center, Kersey & Associates, PC, Kids Count Inc., MetLife, Northwest Savings Bank, PA Army National Guard, Peace Corps, PLS Logistics Services, Premier Therapy, Presley Ridge, Prudential Financial, School of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences - University of Pittsburgh, Social Security Administration, Sonneborn Refined Products, The Commonwealth Medical College, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Travelcenters of America, United States Secret Service, US NAVY - Medical Officer Programs, West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, and Woodmen of the World.
Seven organizations are screening candidates for pre-scheduled campus recruiting interviews on Oct. 15: AFLAC, Alpern Rosenthal, Carbis Walker, Colonial Radio Network, Parente Randolph, Premier Therapy, and Travelcenters of America.
College students and alumni from non-PASSHE institutions are welcome to attend the Fall Career Fair as walk-ins. Walk-in registration is free. Appropriate dress for the Fall Career Fair is required. No one wearing jeans, shorts, t-shirts or sweats will be permitted to enter the event.
