Clarion Campus – Science-Technology Building Construction

Solar system panels have been installed on the roof.  On a sunny day, the solar system is expected to produce up to 26 KW of electrical power directly used in the Science & Technology Building.

The auditorium and planetarium are complete with installation of the planetarium star projector installation this past week.  On the exterior, the contractor has completed insulation and sheeting installation and will install the copper cladding which will extend from the roof to the ground level when the demolition of Pierce is further along.

 Chandler Demo 09-01-09

Sorted metal and debris continue to be removed from the site.  The connecting road from Wood Street to Page Street opened Friday to accommodate the surge of incoming students is closed again and will remain that way until the demolition is finished.  The project remains on schedule to finish in October
