Fitness & Wellness Center

The Fitness & Wellness Center offers Venango students, faculty, staff and their significant others the opportunity to reach their fitness goals. 

The Center is located in the lower level of the Robert W. Rhoades Center. 

Fitness Center Hours

Monday - Thursday 8:30am-8:00pm
Friday 8:30am-4:40pm
Saturday - Sunday Closed

Please review the Rhoades Fitness & Wellness Center Policy before using this facility.

Fitness Programming

All fitness programming classes are free for Venango College students, faculty, staff and open to the general public.

All classes will be starting the week of February 3, 2014 except Step Aerobics starts on March 6, 2014.

Zumba Classes

We offer several Zumba classes during the week at the Venango Campus by certified instructors.  Ditch the work out and join the party!!

Yoga Class

One of our most popular classes enjoyed by all is our Yoga class taught by the certified instructor Peggy Teeter.    

Turbo Kick Class

We are offering for the fourth semester the Kick boxing class.  Beth Jackson, Mathematics professor on campus is also a certified instructor teaching the class for our fitness programming. 

Judo Class

This is the first year that we are offering a Judo class at Venango College.  Dr. Andor Jobb, Sensei founded Clarion University’s HUN JUDO DOJO in 1963 will be teaching the class.  There will be a minimal cost to become a member of the USA Judo Association.  Once you have shown that you are a member, the classes are free.  (we can not pay for individual memberships). 

Step Aerobics Class

This is the fourth year that we have offered a once a week step aerobics class.  The class is taught by Lisa Winger.  This class will start on Thursday March 6, 2014.
