Health and Physical Education

Through its general education courses, the department provides students with extensive opportunities to develop sound health habits and life-long skills in a variety of sports and other physical activities. Although the department does not offer any programs leading to the bachelor's degree, it does offer an Athletic Coaching Verification Program, which includes three levels of study.  The levels of study available are Verification (13 cr.), Concentration  (15 cr.), or a minor (18 cr.), which includes National Certification, Level III.
