The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers an undergraduate degree in speech pathology/speech and hearing science. The undergraduate degree is pre-professional in nature and prepares students to attend graduate school in speech-language pathology or audiology.

The department also offers a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Clarion University Speech and Hearing Clinic
Communication Sciences and Disorders is located in Keeling Health Center, which also houses the Clarion University Speech and Hearing Clinic. The clinic serves patients with communication disorders, and an opportunity for students to obtain clinical experience. Off-campus clinical externship sites for students' clinical training are available in a variety of settings.
