Intramural Sports

Each team must provide a non-playing official (umpire/referee) for each game.  All players must sign registration and waiver forms prior to participation.

4 on 4 Volleyball

Games are played on Mondays in the Robert W. Rhoades Center gymnasium. After all teams have played each other there will be playoffs and then the Championship game.  A men's, women's and a co-rec. league will be offer with rally scoring.  

Bowling League

Two to three bowling leagues will be held through out the semester.  Male, female and co-rec. leagues will be offered.  The competition will be on Tuesday nights at the Seneca Lanes Bowling Alley.  Three person teams will bowl three games at each contest.  Team statistics as well as individual game and season highs will be updated on the Intramural and Outdoor Recreation website. 

Dodgeball

Games consist of six players competing at a time with a possible roster of 10 players on a team.  A match is won by the first team to win two out of three games.  A game is won if all player s on a team are in jail or who ever has the most people not in jail at the end of the 10 minute time limit. Games are on Monday nights.

Floor Hockey

Teams will be 5 on 5 plus goalies. Goalies must wear a helmet, which will be provided. There is no checking allowed, and all sticks must stay below the waist (no slapshots or high sticks).  A game will consist of two, 10-minutes halves with a 5-minute break in between.

3 on 3 Basketball

3 on 3 is played in the gym and meets on Monday.  Games consist of two 10 minute halves with a running clock.  After each change in possession, the ball must be cleared behind the free throw line.  This does include "air-balls".  Players are responsible for calling their own fouls.    A mercy rule will be in effect if there is a gap of more than 20 points at the end of the first half or 30 points in the second half.
