Welcome to the University Activities Board
The University Activities Board (UAB) is the programming body for the Clarion University student population. Through its various committees, UAB sponsors a wide variety of events, activities and programs. There are nine active committees which make up part of the board: Arts, CampusFest, Lecture,Collaboration Community Service, Multicultural, Public Relations, Recreation, Special Events, Weekend Programing and Gemmell Activities.
The University Activities Board office is located on the second floor of the Gemmell Student Complex, Room 249. UAB weekly board meetings are open to the public and take place Wednesdays at 7:30 pm in the Gemmell Student Complex, Room 246. All meetings are open to the university community.

The Mission of the University Activities Board
The mission of the University Activities Board of Clarion University is to build community and involvement among the student body by extending the Clarion experience at a reduced cost. Additionally we strive to program based on academic, diverse and entertainment need.
The Vision of the University Activities Board
The vision of the University Activities Board is to encourage students to remain on campus during the weekends by providing alternative programming, develop partnerships with University departments and enhance academic programming and continue to expand programming efforts for a variety of student interests.
Wanna Join? It's Easy as 1 - 2 - 3
The University Activities Board would like to see all members of the student body participate in events throughout the school year. UAB is committed to not only creating events that a wide range of students would enjoy, but also is committed to having students involved in the planning process.
How do you get involved? It's easy as 1 - 2 - 3!
1) Come out to any of the committee meetings. If you're in the Gemmell Student Complex, stop into our office at 249 Gemmell and speak to a board member about membership.
2) Attend and participate in the meetings. Feel free to stop by any of the meetings of your choice! This will look awesome on your resume.
3) Attend the event that you helped in the planning process.
Occasionally, UAB will have board positions opened for students to apply and participate in an interview. These positions will be announced on UAB's website and also through University e-mail. Applications may be picked up at the Gemmell Information Desk, located on the second floor of Gemmell.
