Welcome to the Department of Mass Media Arts, Journalism, and Communication Studies homepage! We've changed our name! The old Departments of Speech Communication and Communication have combined to form our new department. We are proud to have one of the largest and most energetic programs at Clarion University. Our students are certainly some of the busiest on campus. We offer a B.S. degree in Mass Media Arts, Journalism and Communication Studies with concentrations in Public Relations, Advertising, Film, Corporate Communication, Broadcasting, Journalism, and Communication Studies. We also offer an Online Master of Science in Mass Media Arts & Journalism.

his year each scholarship will have its own electronic application form for the Mass Media Arts, Journalism and Communication Studies (MMAJCS) Department scholarship awards. Please review the criteria carefully. Submit one hard copy of your completed application to: Scholarship Committee, MMAJCS Department, 130 Becker Hall, Clarion University of PA. If you wish to apply for more than one scholarship, make sure to submit a separate cover sheet for each, and submit only one Extra-Curricular Worksheet and Applicant’s Statement. Also, please attach only one copy of the first page of your degree audit.
